Bettie Page was a very famous "pin-up" lady of the 1950's.  In fact, her popularity's not diminished over the years.  Mention her name to anyone in the entertainment business and you'll get a happy, positive response.  Google her name and you will be overwhelmed.

I had done a couple of magazine covers of Bettie Page and this resulted in finally getting to meet the lady. A moment that took a year of convincing people around her that I was an okay guy who could be trusted. Well, our meeting was something to remember. Also memorable was our discussions about everything including the art world and getting into deep complexities of aesthetics

As I look back, she was the kind of person one would say: a good friend right from the start. We kept in touch until her passing in 2008. - Ol' Harl
